1) Shiloh - Vice (Luke Chable's Frock Rockn Socket Remix)

Shiloh's debut release on their new label "Floppy Discs" is a force to be reckoned with! The original mix of Shiloh goodness features an electro track with beautiful proggy melodies, a heavy bassline, and what sounds like an organ on acid! The main synth riff is siiiick!!! The Chable Remix is a BRUTAL electro track with a punchy bassline, a monster sized breakdown, a glitchy robotic vibe, and lots of changeups to keep it lively. He teases you with the melody from the original, and continues to build layer upon layer of goodness as he pounds you with some tough beats. It's highly recommended that you get your copy today on Vinyl from any good record shop, or as a paid download from Beatport. If you really want it on CD, Beatport can also make you a CD and mail it to you.

2) Andy Hunter - To Life To Love (Andy Hunter Vocal Club Remix)

Andy Remixes his own Electro styled tune into a dark Progressive House track geared towards the Clubs! This is taken from a promotional Remix CD which also features a Groovin' Remix by Cedric Gervais, a long play version of the Original track, dub versions of the mixes, and Radio Edits. There was a limited run of these (rumor is 200) and they were only serviced to Clubs, and a few lucky DJs. Why make 3 radio edits and then not send any of the copies to any radio stations? **Scratches head** Don't bother trying to get serviced with this because it won't happen, there are none left to give out! The only way to get one is to purchase it on Ebay (or anywhere else you can find it) and let me encourage you...it is well worth your while! The remixes by Andy and Cedric are top notch, and if you are an Andy Hunter fan you will definitely want to have this rare piece of music history! People have been finding them on ebay for a reasonable price so far, so get yours while you still can.

3) Tom Sawyer - The Energy (Van Lazarux Remix)

Van Lazarux Remixes this into a Tech House throbber with an infectious bassline, some nice filters, and energetic beats. A Male voice echoes as it proclaims the words, "The Energy, The Faith, The Devotion!" I don't know what Tom Sawyer's beliefs are, but Van Lazarux is a Devout Christian, and his production skills have really grown over the last few years. It's getting so I look forward to new tracks from him almost as much as I do from Shiloh! This was only released as a paid download, but Beatport will make you a CD and mail it to you if that's the format you prefer. You can also preview the track and purchase the download there.

4) Leigh Nash - Along The Wall (Styrofoam Remix)

Leigh Nash has always been one of my favorite vocalists, and Electronic Dance has always been my favorite kind of music. The last few years Leigh has been getting into the Electronic Dance scene, working with Delerium, releasing Remixes of her stuff, etc etc etc. It's a match made in heaven for me, and hopefully you'll agree! This original version of this particular track was very laid back, and while the Remix definitely gives it some more energy, it doesn't try and over do it. It has some nice throbby bass and pretty electronic sounds, but it's not a floor mover. It's somewhere between "faster than chillout" and "slower than the dancefloor." There are some fun vocal tweaks and stuff, and it has a really nice texture. All in all it's worth checking out if you're a fan of Sixpence, Leigh Nash, or good music! Available as a paid download exclusively from I-Tunes.

5) QuillRoader feat Morgan Casey - One More Chance (Stockbrokers Remix)

Trance Superstars Quillroader have released their very first single, a Deep Melodic Trance track called "One More Chance" featuring the beautiful vocals of Morgan Casey! The single features the original version of the song and three Remixes - Club Remix, Tweaked Space Chill Mix, and Stockbrokers' Mix. The Mysterious "Stockbrokers" have Remixed Quillroader's track into a harder Progressive Trance tune with a serious vibe. This is primarily a digital release, but there are two ways to get it on CD. Anyone can buy this album using Paypal from Lowroof Records, who have a limited amount of burned CDs that include some nice artwork. Beatport will also make a CD and mail it to you if that's how you prefer to get your music. As far as digitally, it is available to preview and as individual paid downloads from both Beatport and I-tunes, as well as just about every other mp3 service out there. Audiojelly, Trackitdown, Mixmag, Dancetunes, M8 Downloads, Judge Jules, Central Trax, Trust the DJ, UK Trance Alliance, Electrofloor, Play it Tonight, and Resonant Vibes, just to name a "few!"

6) Shiloh - All Those Things

Their track "Baby" gets reworked by both Shiloh and LP into a Nu Skool Breaks Jam with beautiful music and hard edged beats. The bassline is hard and rolling, things get stuttered here and there, filters abound with edits galore, and the vocals fit into everything perfectly. If you like Nu Skool Breaks you'll love this...it's a little slice of heaven! This is also available on Vinyl, but is taken from the White Cell disc of Shiloh's new DOUBLE CD release "Bleed" which is IMHO the best release of the year. Every tune on it is quality, and also amazing art that your ears and soul with thank you for. The entire release is available for purchase as individual downloads from Beatport, but it's definitely the kind of album where you'll want to own the physical CD. The artwork is amazing in the 8 page sleeve, and the individual CD covers are very cool designs as well. You can preview the tracks and pick up the CD at:

7) Dunamis - Armageddon

Taken from his debut album "Revelations", this track is short and sweet, but full of attitude. "Armageddon" is dark Drum & Bass that many would label Tek Step. Rumbling and distorted basslines with crunchy beats and an electric guitar that sometimes plays, and sometimes growls! I really like the hardness this track delivers, it reminds me a bit of when Indikator were doing this style of music, and also an album that Digital Image released in the past. This album is purely instrumental, but it definitely captures the feelings you have when reading about the end times. Dunamis is also the greek word for power that is used many times throughout the New Testament in the Bible. You can preview this track and the rest of the album at DJ Dunamis' Myspace, and also at Beatport. You can purchase this as a CD by emailing DJ Dunamis, or you can purchase any or all of the individual downloads at Beatport.com

8) Cristian Paduraru - Universal Interpretation

Minimal Progressive House track with a female vocal that says "Universal Interpretation" over and over again in different ways, while the track gets a really deep hypnotic groove going. 11) Sheltershed - Gunmetal

Techno with a bit of an Industrial flavor that has cool samples, booming bass, and fast paced riffs. Gunmetal starts off with a sample that says, "Come on DJ, Drop that Beat in." Synth lines swirl around and Techno sounds abound, all building to a rocking good time! They are taking things in an even harder direction with their new album, "Other Condition." The Album is available on CD from the Sheltershed website, and is available for download from Beatport and I-Tunes. It also features special Remixes by Timo Rozendal, Shane and Dunamis.

12) Nick Douglas - Desert Storm

Very nice Electro styled track from Nick Douglas, aka Kubiks & Lomax. Funky grinds, glitchy riffs, catchy samples and a groovin bassline all add up to a good time! The track is currently unsigned and looking for a home (ATTENTION LABELS!), so I'm not sure that it's available to the general public at this point, Doug (kubiks) was just nice enough to let me use it on the show. Please send all inquiries his way, and be sure to check his myspace for some groovy tunes.

13) Major Pax - Against The Dark

Major Pax is the Brazilian team of Hugo Dias & Thiago Almeida. Their music covers a wide range of styles, but this track in particular is an Electro styled Breaks track loaded with atmosphere and a real building feeling. The synths stick in your head and the bass growls at you. It's very reminiscent of Tresice's Breaks style on "Life 2.0" or "Can't Fix It." Beautiful synthwork, great percussion, and deep sustained booming sounds...what's not to like? The track is instrumental, but you can really feel the meaning from the title in it at times. These guys have really impressed me with this track, and I love great first impressions! You will to if you check them out at their myspace account and get a taste of their music. This track and the other songs from their "I Want a New Life" EP are available as paid downloads on Beatport through Deep Life Records.

14) Hyp0static - Nee

Hyp0static was featured as the opening track on on Demulcent Sessions Volume One, and also did several remixes for various projects released on Demulcent Records. Until recently his CD "The Halogen EP" was only available at the Cornerstone festival. He's polished it up and packaged it up for wide release through CD Baby and also as a downloads from I-Tunes. This particular track from the release became my favorite instantly with it's originality and strong Gospel message! It opens up with only a strong male voice that has the same timbre as one from an old Martial Arts Movie. The voice proclaims, "Christ is the Son of God, who died for the redemption of sinners, and resurrected after three days. This is the greatest truth in the universe. At this point a low rumble begins and the voice states, "I'd die because of my belief in Christ." Then a chinese riff plays, that sounds like it is made by a Chinese Harp or some other stringed instrument, and leads up to a cool broken beat that drops in. This same voice speaks single words throughout the song, like "Passionate, Devoted, Teachable, Suffering, Broken." The music bed is rich in detail from both electronic and organic sounds, too many to describe, but definitely a beautiful combination of electronics and live instrumentation. It's a laid back, Broken Beat tune, but it's full of message and a relaxing, deep thinking vibe. You can listen to it at the official Hyp0static website, CD Baby, or I-Tunes. You can pick up the whole CD there too, or individual downloads as well.

15) Brisker & Magitman - Eden (Shiloh Remix)

Shiloh Remix this track into a MASSIVE Electro House track with plenty of Tech influences. It starts off with a steady beat and some cool blips and whirrs and then drops a HUGE bassline that grabs your attention so fast you almost get whiplash! There are vocals in the song, but they are tweaked so much they are pretty much sound effects more than anything, and the boys use them in key spots to help build you up and set up the breakdown, as well as add some extra flavour here and there. When the Breakdown hits it blows thing up bigtime, and the bass really throbs hardcore, and then you realize it's still building to an even BIGGER breakdown! At this point things just get crazy, and there are so many wonderful techy sounds, organ on acid type riffs, cool electro melodies, and full on energy and bass madness you succumb to the mind numbing goodness that is Shiloh's Remix! This puppy ROCKS! A must own and highly recommended. You can snag it on Vinyl from Juno, Psyshop, and any good Vinyl store, and it is also available as a digital release that you can preview and download from Beatport. As always if you prefer CD, Beatport will gladly make a CD and mail it to you.

16) Joseph - Transformed feat Daniel (Alpine Son Sweat It Mix)

Alpine Son Remixes "Transformed" into a really smooth Progressive House offering with Daniel's vocals tweaked a bit for flavour, but still bringing forth the message about Jesus over some really amazing music. This is a very impressive track, and NDM definitely have my attention now! You can find out more about NDM at their website, and contact them there as well. This Remix was taken from "Transformed Remixed 01" which is available digitally through Beatport. As always, if you prefer CD, Beatport will make and mail you one.

18)
Pirates of the Caribbean - He's A Pirate (Chris Joss' Ship Ahoy Tribal Mix)**

Chris Joss takes a different approach and makes his remix darker and harder, and almost entirely instrumental with just a few sound effects here and there, and a neat version of the riff that sounds like it's played on an instrument Pirates really had back in the day. All that wrapped up in some pounding, thundering Tribal beats makes for good times! It definitely appeals to fans of the Pirates movies. This was released on a very limited Promo CD, and also on Vinyl, but the easiest way to get it is as a paid download from I-Tunes. There are also a number of other remixes such as "Pete N' Reds Jolly Roger Trance Mix." You can preview all the mixes at the Dead Man's Chest Myspaces listed below, as well as at I-Tunes. *As far as I know this isn't a Christian produced track, but it is an incredibly fun one!

19) Matisyahu - What I'm Fighting For (Elektro Nuckless Mix 2007)

DJ Frank Nuckless Remixes this Matisyahu track into a feel good commercial stomper that works great to get the dancefloor moving. While Matisyahu is not a believer in Jesus as far as I know, his lyrics are straight out of the Old Testament as he is a Devout Jew. The Lyrics are positive and uplifting, and DJ Frank Nuckless Music matches the mood making this a real charmer. I still consider this a Christian track because DJ Frank Nuckless is a Devout Follower of Jesus Christ. Fans of commercial dance should snap this up quick, especially since it's available as a free download at Frank's website!
